Paper Playtime Challenge #64

Can you believe it?
Welcome to 2012!  As we ring in the new year,  my hope is that each one of you have good health, prosperity and love for this year.

Who is ready for Paper Playtime's Challenge #64?

The challenge is to make any project using the Cricut with an item that you have recycled.  It can be a button, ribbon for another project, altering a water bottle, anything!

For my project, I chose to recycle a Pringles potato chip can.  We have stored our spaghetti noodles in a Pringles can for a long long time.  Sometimes I grab the can to eat the chips only to discover it is full of spaghetti!

I took a 12 by 12 sheet of K&Co paper, trimmed it to 8.25 by
10 5/8ths and adhered it around the can with ATG.  The letters, P, A, S, T, A were cut from the Old West cartridge at 1.75 inches twice.  I adhered each letter together to make them thicker and adhered to the can with foam tape.

I cut a 1/8 inch strip of the K & Co paper and glued it around the rim of the plastic lid.  It looks really cute and will be easy to identify  when it is stored in my pantry.

Since today is classified as a National Holiday, come join us and make a recycled project!
