Paper Playtime Ch# 65 - TAGS!

Hey, everybody! So glad you stopped by!
Today is the 3rd Monday in the month and that means
that Paper Playtime is starting a brand new Sentiment challenge today!

CH #65 - TAGS! And add a SENTIMENT!
Make a TAG or include a TAG on your project with a SENTIMENT.

Paper Playtime's sponsor this month is one of their very own Design Team Members,

Amy is sponsoring with an awesome kit!

This kit includes: 12 pattern papers; 3 die-cut elements; mini wood stickers; and 2 sticker alphabets!

All you have to do to be eligible to win:
1) Be a FOLLOWER of Paper Playtime
2) Submit a NEW Project (no back links) within the current theme challenge
3) Have a USA shipping address

Here is the TAG I created for this challenge:

This was such an easy tag to create.... because I cheated a little and used a sticker instead of a die cut. But who cares?! I love this happy tag. Doesn't it just make you smile from ear to ear?!

Background papers, Doggie Sticker, and ball sticker all from a PETS paper stack kit from Recollections.
Sun is actually a very cool button. The tag was cut at 4.75 inches using the Tags, Bags Boxes and More Cricut cartridge.  It would be button number 9 on the overlay using the shadow and base cut feature.

"I RUFF you!" and "Happy tails to you!" are both from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps set, "Barks and Bones".

Thanks for stopping by, commenting, and following my blog!
I hope you'll have time to submit your own TAG with a Sentiment
into Paper Playtime's challenge!

PAPER PLAYTIME CHALLENGE

This week at PAPER PLAYTIME the challenge is to make a TALL card.
I made 2 different ones just because Tall cards are so fun to make.
The first card I made using the GATOR cut from CREATE A CRITTER on page 45.
SMILE is also cut from page 45.
Ribbon, buttons, and bling were added tot his fun stripped paper.

This second was also tons of fun to make.
All of these cuts are from COUNTRY LIFE.
The sun and textured hills were cut from page 72.
I ran the different layers through the Cuttlebug.
The horse and fence are cut from page 38.
The horse is cut using glittered paper. So pretty!
"HAY there!" is a clear stamp I added using black ink.

Come play with us and submit your own TALL card this week!

Uh-Oh... Somebody's In Trouble...

We have several four-legged friends who live in our house. One of these precious darlings thought it would be a good idea to tear up my craft magazine and eat my snack I left on the coffee table. OK, so I should not have tempted them with the food, but still, I was not a happy camper to walk back into the room to see a torn-up paper mess and my candy bar gone.  Somebody's in trouble....

I lined up all 4 babies, who were very happy to give me their attention because they thought I was about to toss some treats their way.  Instead, I pointed out my finger and said, "Who did this?"  Can you believe one of the babies sulked out of the room and went and hid under the bed?! LOL  It's not funny... well, it is a little bit.

And since that particular doggie belongs to my son who is currently in another state playing Army, I decided to make a card and send it to my son which reads something like this, "Please come home soon. I tore up your Mommie's magazine and ate her chocolate. I need you."  And I included a picture of little angel in the card too.

Cut @ 4"
Papers are from scraps

This is my submission for the following challenge:
Creative Card Crew - For A Child (this card is for my child - no matter how old he gets, he's still my baby.... shhhh- don't tell him I said that)
