Happy Birthday Card

Hello Everyone!!!

I have been making cards like crazy!  Do you ever decide to do that?  I looked in my stash of cards and I was low on birthday cards.

Here is a card I recently made.  It is a little bit "mod"...but cute too!

All of the papers are from Recollections cardstock which can be purchased at Michaels.  I used two cricut cartridges for the clothes (Paisley) and the background mat in yellow and white was cut using Elegant Edges.  The sentiment, Happy Birthday, is from CARDZTV STAMPS.

This is one of my absolutely favorite stamp sets and I use it often.  It is applicable to almost every holiday!  It even has a stamp that says "Happy Everything!"   And, "So Happy for You!" could be used for graduation, a baby card, a job promotion, wedding, ....talk about versatile!!!

I will have another super cute birthday card to show you on Valentine's Day, so stay tuned!

Birthday card

Hope everyone is having a great day today!  It has been raining intermittently throughout the day.  We sure need the moisture!

I have been busy creating Valentines Day cards and had some pink and red scraps laying on my desk so I challenged myself to  make a card and then toss the rest!

CARD RECIPE:
  • A2 size card base (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") using red cardstock from Recollections and embossed with Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder

  • ELEGANT EDGES for Sentiment mat. "Butterfly2" page 51 cut @ 3 1/4" with Shadow feature.
  • SWEET TREATS for CupCake  cut @ 3".
  • Heart rhinestones from Studio 112.
  • "Sweet" sentiment stamp from Mary's CARDZ TV STAMPS set called, "Make A Wish".

Hope you guys are having a super terrific day!

Sweet 16!

Is everyone having a great week?  I am!
I have a neighbor who is having a Sweet 16 party for her granddaughter.  To celebrate this happy occasion, I decided to make a birthday card and incorporate shade of purple in the card.

A2 size card used with white cardstock.  The background mat measures 4.0 by 5.25 and came from a Colorbok paper pack that I purchased last year at Walmart.  The smaller mat measures 1.75 by 4 and came from the same paper stack.  I took a scrap piece of white cardstock and layered it on top the  smaller mat.  The tennis shoes  were cut at 3.25 inches from the Cricut Lite Slumber Party cartridge.  Ribbon is from my stash.

Sentiment Stamp from "Make A Wish" stamp set from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps! Click Here to see all her stamps she has to offer. I love them!

Have a great day everyone!  Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment!

Look Who's One

Isn't he just the cutest?

This cute bird was cut at 4 inches using the 3 Birds On Parade cartridge.  The wings and blanket were embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and  his adorable little feet were embossed with the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder.  Background mat, cut at 5.25 by 4.0 is from a Martha Stewart Paper Collection pack.  Yellow ribbon and card is from my stash.

The sentiment, "Look Who's One!" is  from "Make A Wish" stamp set from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps! Click Here to see all her stamps she has to offer. I love them!

Hope each and every one of you have an awesome day!

Happy Birthday Cake

Creating Masculine cards is challenging for most of us.  I made this tri-fold card with the intention of sending it to a male friend and ended up sending it to a girlfriend!  Isn't that the way it always works?

Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!
