Blank Card

Happy Wednesday everyone!  How many of you desire to have an "Anything Goes" card that is fit for any occasion?  Well, here it is....

I think this card is just perfect for fall.  I decided not to put a sentiment on the front or the inside of the card yet.  I would love to make a few "any occasion" cards and stamp a sentiment on the inside when I need a quick card to send to a friend for their birthday, get well, encouragement...thinking of you....

My neighbor came over to my house the other day and needed three birthday cards and one "thinking of you" card.  I had over 100 cards in my stash and there was not one card that "fit" what she was looking for.  She ended up selecting four Halloween cards and asked me to stamp "Happy Birthday" on the inside of the card on three of them and "Happy Everything" on the inside of the fourth card.  Here is the stamp set I used:

This stamp set is PERFECT for all occasions!  The Halloween cards had "Happy Halloween" on the front of the cards and we stamped the inside with "Happy Birthday" on three of the cards and "Happy Everything" on the inside of the fourth card.  If you can only afford one stamp set, this set is the one for you!  This set is available at CARDZTV STAMPS.

Have a great day everyone!

Wicked Wishes! and Small Giveaway!

Who is in the mood for Halloween?  Weather is starting to cool down.....leaves on the trees are changing colors, and every store is covered with Halloween decorations.  I recently went to Dollar Tree and purchased a number of items to decorate my somewhat small covered patio.  Believe it or not, we still have a lot of trick-or-treaters that come on Halloween.

Mary at CARDZTV has recently offered three new stamps sets for sale in her store:  OCT 31st, Fall Fun, and Christmas Joy.  She also recently added More Spooky Sayings and there is still time for you to play with these stamps for Halloween. The Design Team will start showcasing some of the sentiments on these stamps along with participation in our Design Team Challenge on October 19th.

Look at the cute card I made using the OCT 31st stamp set:

Isn't the Bingo card so cute?  I just love the sentiments on this stamp set.

My card is a standard A2 size card and the cute Hello Kitty image is from Kitty Greeting cartridge.  Thank you so much, Schell, for sending me these fun cuts.  Schell is a very special craft sister of mine and makes the cutest cards and projects.  You can check out her blog HERE.  Schell also makes great videos!  Her YouTube channel is called Babytweetums.

SMALL GIVEAWAY:

Who doesn't love a giveaway?  I am giving away, to one lucky winner who leaves a comment, 5 Action Wobbles!  I have so much fun getting my "wobble on".....and Turkey Day is just around the corner!  Who wouldn't just love to wobble their mummy or a cute turkey on a cute card to send to a friend or loved one?
The Action Wobbles are also available for sale in The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Shoppe.  You can check out all the neat "stuff" she has for sale along with Action Wobbles HERE.

All you have to do is leave me a comment!  I will select a winner on Saturday morning.

BOO!

Happy Tuesday!

I am on several design teams and one of my DT Sisters, Michelle, made a banner for her door for Halloween.  I saw several other banners while perusing Pinterest. (which, by the way, is so addicting)  I thought....hmmm...I have never EVER made a banner.  So I pulled out my trusty Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge and started cutting away on my Cricut.  Several hours later, here is what I came up with:

Isn't it cute, for a first try?

Big spider from Smiley cartridge, B from Birthday Bash
Do you see the teeny spiders?

Skulls and Bats and Eyes of Newt
What eyes of newt???  lol

The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout..
What water spout?  lol  There is none!

I just HAD to have a witch on here somewhere....

This was SO MUCH FUN!!!  Thank you,  Janis, for the adorable purple spiders.  They are so cute!!!  I cut the scallop banner from the Birthday Bash cartridge at 6 inches.  It was not stiff enough, so I cut two more base cuts and used UGLY AND I MEAN UGLY cardstock and glued all three together so that it became like chipboard.  Thank you, Mary at Cardztv for this helpful hint!  The BIG spider is from the Smiley cartridge that came preloaded when I bought my Gypsy.  It was cut at three inches and is HUGE.  Don't you just love his eyeballs?  They are stickers from Michaels!!!  The "B" was cut at 4 inches and the other letters were cut at 4 1/4 from the Birthday Bash cartridge as well.  All embellies, (other than Janis' adorable spiders) were from various Recollections stickers I got on sale at Michaels.

I just LOVED how this banner turned out.  I am SO HAPPY....that I have decided to do a giveaway!  Who would like some Halloween embellishments?  I am not going to show them to you but I promise they are adorable!!!

All you have to do is leave me a comment!  I will select a winner on Friday, October 5th and announce the winner by 9 pm Eastern Time.

P.S.  I am entering this in the challenge over at MY CRAFTING CHANNEL.
