Fangtastic!

All I have to say about this is: FANGTASTIC!
I recently purchased two stamp sets from the My Pink Stamper line, one of which was the Spooky Puns set.  I know "Ms. Frankenstein" does not have fangs, but I just had to use this sentiment!

Operation Write Home is challenging those who make cards for them to make a few Halloween cards, and also to make a few cards that are NOT Halloween related....BUT to use the Halloween-related sentiment!  I think the example used was "Have a boo-tiful Day" with a very friendly Casper.  Consequently, I have made five cards using the "Pick of the Patch" sentiment with flowers....

If anyone has any ideas, please make suggestions!

PAPER PLAYTIME CHALLENGE

This week at PAPER PLAYTIME the challenge is to make a TALL card.
I made 2 different ones just because Tall cards are so fun to make.
The first card I made using the GATOR cut from CREATE A CRITTER on page 45.
SMILE is also cut from page 45.
Ribbon, buttons, and bling were added tot his fun stripped paper.

This second was also tons of fun to make.
All of these cuts are from COUNTRY LIFE.
The sun and textured hills were cut from page 72.
I ran the different layers through the Cuttlebug.
The horse and fence are cut from page 38.
The horse is cut using glittered paper. So pretty!
"HAY there!" is a clear stamp I added using black ink.

Come play with us and submit your own TALL card this week!

Uh-Oh... Somebody's In Trouble...

We have several four-legged friends who live in our house. One of these precious darlings thought it would be a good idea to tear up my craft magazine and eat my snack I left on the coffee table. OK, so I should not have tempted them with the food, but still, I was not a happy camper to walk back into the room to see a torn-up paper mess and my candy bar gone.  Somebody's in trouble....

I lined up all 4 babies, who were very happy to give me their attention because they thought I was about to toss some treats their way.  Instead, I pointed out my finger and said, "Who did this?"  Can you believe one of the babies sulked out of the room and went and hid under the bed?! LOL  It's not funny... well, it is a little bit.

And since that particular doggie belongs to my son who is currently in another state playing Army, I decided to make a card and send it to my son which reads something like this, "Please come home soon. I tore up your Mommie's magazine and ate her chocolate. I need you."  And I included a picture of little angel in the card too.
