December Layout

Is Black Friday over?  Did any of you brave the crowds to try to purchase a bargain?  Not me! Well, kind of.  By "kind of", I purchased a few crafty items online that were great bargains!

Now that turkey day is over, the front porch is beginning to look like Christmas, as well as our tree!

In light of the picture of the tree, and hopefully soon, our decorated mantle, I made a layout for the two pictures:

I hope each of you will get an opportunity to play in your craft room over the weekend!

Layout Series

My Cover Page

Hello my friends!  I am sure many of you have made resolutions for this year that you hope you can fulfill and complete.  I am no exception to always having great plans at the beginning of every year and losing sight of those goals within a few months.  One of my goals this year is to keep some type of journal expressing all the things that I am grateful for.  Since it is difficult for me to write, I decided to journal my gratitude through pictures that was self explanatory.  It took me awhile to figure out how I was going to make this happen.

Initially I thought I would purchase one of those smash books that is the current rave...but when I saw how small they were....I decided to make a 12 by 12 album.  I have not purchased the album yet, but it will definitely be "cutesy"!

To aid me in "staying the course and going the distance", I determined that I would start a Layout Series....I have discovered that if I have a deadline of sorts that I am more inclined to want to keep at it....

I really enjoy making layouts and when I got back into crafting in 2009...my intention was to create layouts for my son's as-yet-unfinished baby album.  Then, I discovered YouTube, Blogger, Facebook, Design Teams....and my son's album is still "one" of my projects!

Hope you enjoy this series.
