Sweet Cupcake

I just love cupcake cards.  My friend, Janis, at Pausedreamenjoy.blogspot.com had a cupcake bloghop sometime in the summer and I got addicted to all the different cupcake shapes available on the Cricut cartridges.
I have used the shaped cupcakes as thank you notes, (Sweet as can Be), just saying hello (Hey Cupcake!),  affection type notes (I am sweet on you) and of course, the traditional birthday theme.
After all, who doesn't love cupcakes?
The Cricut Sweet Shop cartridge even has cupcake boxes to put cupcakes in!
Can't get much sweeter than that!
Have a great Halloween weekend folks!

We've Moved!

Happy Friday everyone!

I made several of these cards to notify friends of my new address.

Now, on to the recipe for this card:  A2 size card base was cut from MyPaperStudio Kraft cardstock.  Background mat was cut at 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches.  The house is from the Cricut Pop Up Neighborhood cartridge at 4 inches.  This cartridge was supplied to Circle Members by ProvoCraft.  White Ribbon was from my stash.

I really like this cartridge.  It has a lot of shapes and is very versatile.

Have a great weekend!

Bonnie Card!

I hope everyone is having a super day!  I have been feeling kind of froggy with the cooler weather and have been in the mood to read.  I send this HUGE card to my friend's daughter recently.
My intention was to cut this card to fit an A2 size envelope.  Well, it cut out about six inches high!  OOPS!  So, I decided Bonnie would love it anyway!
Bonnie's favorite color is purple so I tried to incorporate those colors in the card.
I hope you guys have a fabulous day!

2nd Card for Simply Crafts October Challenge!

I had so much fun making the card for Pam and Glora's challenge at Simply Crafts that I just had to make another card!

Isn't this card just the bomb?  I borrowed Janis' idea (Pausedreamenjoy.blogspot.com) of putting the cut on an Action Wobble.

Challenge #1 asked us to make a project using the image from page 49 of the Paper Doll Dressup Cricut Cartridge.   Here is the A2 size card I made:

The Monster was cut at 4 inches.  I scrounged around my craft room and found the biggest googlie eyes I had.  I cut this image out twice at 4 inches to layer on top of each other.  Mr. Monster was placed on an Action Wobble.  He is so cute!

The "eyeballs" background paper is from S E I.  I purchased it at the coolest local scrapbook store located in Roswell, New Mexico.

The sentiment is from KAndrewDesigns Fall-O-Ween stamp set.  I just love her stamps!  You can mix and match the stamps to design your own sentiment like I did here!  Check her awesome stamps sets here!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  I enjoy each of you so much and want each of you to know how much you enrich my life.

Happy Crafting!

Simply Crafts October Challenge

Happy Fall Y'all!  I just love fall colors...orange, brown, sage green, pumpkins, scarecrows, Halloween costumes, fall wreaths...hay bales...I could go on and on!

There is a new challenge blog by Simply-Pam and Glora called Simply Crafts.  The challenge is to use the cut on Page 49 of the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge.

Here is my submission for the challenge.  The image is cut at 3.5 inches using paper from Echo Park.  Background striped paper came from a Recollections Paper Pack that I recently purchased at Michael's.  The black fence and pumpkin came from last year's Echo Park Halloween paper collection kit.  Sentiment used is from My Pink Stampers Spook Puns set.  I had so much fun making this card.

If you get a chance, hop on over to Simply Crafts and play with us!
