 6 x 6 card base in camo green
All papers used are from The Paper Studio Army Paper Pack
Soldier cut at 4 inches from the Stand and Salute Cricut cartridge
Chipboard and Tag from "Army chipboard pieces" from The Paper Studio
Sentiment from CARDZTV Simply Said Stamp Set
Label for sentiment from the Fabulous Finds Cricut cartridge cut at one inch

A Very Special Announcement


As most of you know, I have one son who is absolutely the light of my life.  He is everything I ever hoped for and has grown into a phenomenal young man.  Matthew is currently serving in the United States Army.  He enlisted after graduation from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  He is scheduled to be deployed to the United Arab Emirates sometime this year.

Last weekend, he proposed to a very lovely lady, Alison McPhee, and she accepted!  Ali is currently completing her Master's Degree at Texas A&M and will graduate in August.  She is everything I have prayed for as the perfect soul mate for my son.

Matt and Ali have a bright future ahead of them.  I am so excited to be able to witness and share in their journey together.

Clouds...Fiskars small cloud punch
Waves...Fiskars border wave punch
Card...A2 size card measuring 4.25 by 5.25
All papers used are just scraps from my stash
Sentiment:  Oh, ship!   from Joy's Life Summer Puns stamp set (SHOP HERE)

This card was extremely easy to make....and I got a great chuckle out of that sentiment!!!

CardzTV Challenge No. 26 "It's SO You!"

Since Spring is one of my favorite seasons, I just LOVE the theme for this challenge!

Here is my project for this challenge:

My favorite colors are any shade of pink, soft greens and white...I just love the color combination!  As I looked for ideas on Youtube to make my project, I came across my Design Team Sister, Julie's card and just HAD TO SCRAPLIFT this card!  Here is a link to her video:
