Squirrely Hello

I recently purchased the 5th Anniversary Expression 2 but have not been able to use it much.  The squirrel was cut from one of the preloaded cartridges that came with the machine.  Card base is an A2 size and the papers are from Recollections.  The squirrel was super easy to put together.  I am really going to enjoy the Expression 2!

Sweet Candy Apple

This card was quick, simple and took less than five minutes to make.  The Candy Apple was cut at 3 inches and the "Sweet" sentiment was cut at 1 inch from the Smiley cards cartridge.  The funky background mat was from my stash.  Candy Apples always remind me of our local county livestock shows and the State Fair.

Tomb It May Concern

I just love Halloween.  As you are aware, I make cards for Operation Write Home and Halloween cards to be sent to the soldiers to send to their loved ones are due the middle of September.  My goal is to make 25 Halloween cards, so you are going to see a lot of them!

Recipe:
Card base 4.75 x 4.75
Recollections paper pack
Frankenstein cut @ 3.5" from Happy Hauntings cartridge
Sentiment: My Pink Stamper Spooky Puns Set
Background paper mat is 4.5 x 4.5 from Martha Stewart Holidays Halloween Stack

Fangtastic!

All I have to say about this is: FANGTASTIC!
I recently purchased two stamp sets from the My Pink Stamper line, one of which was the Spooky Puns set.  I know "Ms. Frankenstein" does not have fangs, but I just had to use this sentiment!

Operation Write Home is challenging those who make cards for them to make a few Halloween cards, and also to make a few cards that are NOT Halloween related....BUT to use the Halloween-related sentiment!  I think the example used was "Have a boo-tiful Day" with a very friendly Casper.  Consequently, I have made five cards using the "Pick of the Patch" sentiment with flowers....

If anyone has any ideas, please make suggestions!

A Birdie Thanks

I just love the "Daily Deals" websites.  I purchase Paper Collection Kits when they offer them for $8.99 or so.  This collection kit was purchased from craftysteals.com last fall.  It had 12 sheets double sided paper, stickers, cardboard pieces, ribbon, brads, and alphabet letters.  I was able to make several cards for Operation Write Home, a mini album, and two layouts using this collection pack.

If you get a chance, check out these awesome websites.  You might find a sweet deal once in awhile!

Hi Friend!

I just love the Cricut Paisley cartridge.  The cell phone was cut at 3 inches using Recollections cardstock.  The plaid mat is from DCWV paper stack.  Super easy and super quick!
